Terms of Service

By booking an appointment or using this website, you agree to the following terms. Kept as plain as possible.

The Service

Shine Shark Detailing LLC provides mobile car detailing in Chagrin Falls, OH and surrounding areas. All services are performed at your home, with driveway access and an outdoor water spigot and electrical outlet required at the service location.

Service availability depends on location, scheduling, weather, and access. I reserve the right to decline a booking that falls outside my service area or cannot be safely performed.

Booking & Confirmation

Submitting a booking request is not a confirmed appointment. Your appointment is confirmed once I review and accept your request — you'll receive an email confirmation when approved.

A 50% deposit is required at confirmation to hold your date and time. The remaining balance is due after the service is completed.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure I can complete your service, you are responsible for:

  • Water access: An outdoor water hookup (standard garden hose connection) accessible at or near the service location.
  • Electrical access: A 110V outlet accessible within a reasonable distance of the vehicle.
  • Clear access: The vehicle parked in an accessible space with enough room to work around all sides.
  • Vehicle condition disclosure: Mention known issues (excessive pet hair, heavy soiling, damage, etc.) when booking so I can plan accordingly.

If access cannot be provided on the day of service, I may be unable to perform the appointment and the deposit may be retained. See the Weather & Access Policy for more detail.

Service Results

I do my best work on every vehicle. Results vary based on age, condition, and prior maintenance. Detailing can significantly improve appearance but cannot reverse existing paint damage, scratches, deep stains, or deterioration beyond the surface.

If you have concerns about what's realistically achievable for your vehicle, reach out before booking and I'll give you an honest assessment.

Cancellations & Refunds

See the Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy and Refund Policy for full details. In summary:

  • 48+ hours notice: deposit is refundable.
  • Less than 48 hours notice or no-show: deposit is non-refundable.
  • Weather rescheduling by me: deposit is fully preserved at no cost to you.

Liability

Shine Shark Detailing LLC is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or defects discovered during the service. I take care with every vehicle, but am not responsible for issues present before the appointment began.

Liability for any claim related to a completed service is limited to the amount paid for that specific service.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. When that happens, the updated version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the booking system or website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
